Lots of fun stuff...

So a lot has happened in the last couple of days. Yesterday we went to a prison to give food to the immates. The prisons here are way different than in the us. They do not get much food at all, if any. There were over 400 prisoners in a space for about 20 in the us. We were not allowed to take many pictures. But I did take a couple.

The prison was in fort liberte
Nine giant pots of rice and beans
Carrying one pot
Over 400 of these bowls
Not even enough to fill them up...

We continued to make progress on shirts.

We started to build some of the beds. We couldn't use screws because we did not have power. We nailed five beds together today.

We have even had time to have lots of fun with the kids...

Cards
Soccer
She wasn't doing well...
She won...

Making tshirts

Well today I was a little sick. I didn't do much except sleep. I did burn the trash in the morning. However the group continued to work. They went to town to buy some more wood for the beds we are making. They also bought some other supplies. Then in e evening the kids got to print some designs on to tshirts. They look pretty sweet.

Singing...

When we went to Tabitha's we sang them a song in creole. They returned the favor. It was pretty awesome. Ignore my voice at the end of the video.

Working on beds and some other skills...

Because of the storm the week one people left a day early. They are safely in Florida. We continued to do some work here today. Some of these pictures are from yesterday. Enjoy...
